Mission
Delta Gear, Inc. is committed to continually design, test, and improve equipment to bring the elite athlete to the forefront of endurance sports.
Origins
In the year 2004 Delta Gear Inc.® was born as a result of the growing number of companies selling inferior gear at inflated prices. I am a former soldier/veteran with an engineering background, and I own and operate the company. I understand your gear requirements and have no stake in promoting one brand or another. I simply promote the best – period.
The products I represent are chosen according to quality, dependability, functionality, and durability – thereby eliminating the guess-work for our active-duty customer when compiling field gear in preparation for deployment. That is our mission.
You may say, “It’s not rocket science”, but in fact, to our former active-duty engineers it’s damn close. We are hell bent on research and testing the highest quality gear proven useful in extreme conditions – thereby facilitating your safe return home.
All of our products are shipped in recycled/reused boxes and padding material. This reduces the cost of our operation and we pass the savings on to you. Saving the environment is just a pleasant side-effect.
Please take your time and browse our site. I cannot over-emphasize our goal to present information, advice, and real gear for real people.
Thank you,
Greg Boban

About the Owner
Greg Boban is an artist, engineer, and designer. He is the son of Croatian immigrants that escaped communism to come to America to give their children a better life. Due to the harsh living conditions of communist Croatia, his mother only finished 4th grade and his father finished a couple years of high school. This made education very important to his family. While pursuing higher education, he enrolled in ROTC to offset the cost of school while also following areas of interest such as skydiving, fitness, camping, survival, marksmanship, and combatives. While on active duty for five years, Greg attended Airborne School, Air Assault School, and Sapper School. He began making his own equipment as a cadet, and created Delta Gear due to popular interest in his equipment. He returned to school using his GI Bill to pursue graduate degrees in engineering. Greg continues to exemplify his alma mater's motto, "learn by doing," by being the owner and chief test dummy at Delta Gear, Inc.
